What does it mean to watch and wait?
Sometimes doctors may feel that the best course of action for a person with CLL is to ‘watch and wait’.
Every few weeks or months, or every year, your health care team will ask you to come for a check-up.
Will I need treatment?
Many people diagnosed with slow-growing blood cancers don’t need treatment straightaway. Some people do not have any troublesome symptoms when they are first diagnosed and, hence, do not have treatment at this time.
